Kaziranga National Park is a world heritage site (declared in 1985 by UNESCO) and is famous for the Great Indian one horned rhinoceros (hosts two-thirds of world population)
Been declared as a National Park in 1974, Kaziranga is home to the highest density of tigers among protected areas in the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. The park is home to a large breeding population of elephants, wild water buffalo, and swamp deer.
Kaziranga is recognized as an Important bird area by BirdLife International for conservation of avifaunal species. Located on the edge of the Eastern Himalayas biodiversity hotspot, the park combines high species diversity and visibility.

Safaris in all Zones of the park
Day 1:
Reach Guwahati airport before 12 noon. Road Journey to Kaziranga (5 hours’ drive with lunch enroute). Check-in to the resort. Get refreshed and meet the group for dinner followed by a briefing for the tour.
Day 2:
Wake up early for the morning jungle safari. Return to resort for breakfast with discussions over the sightings. You can explore the resort by taking a walk around. Have lunch and leave for the afternoon safari. Return to the resort for hi-tea and discussion over sightings of the day. Get refreshed and have dinner followed by informative slideshow on Biodiversity of Kaziranga.
Day 3:
Wake up early for the morning jungle safari. Return to resort for breakfast with discussions over the sightings. Can have a birdwatching session in the resort. Have lunch and leave for the afternoon safari. Return to the resort for hi-tea and discussion over sightings of the day. Get refreshed and have dinner followed by discussion of the tour that includes ID, birdcount & mammals count.
Day 4:
Today is the last leg of the tour and we wake up early morning to go for an hour of Elephant Safari (Optional with additional charges). Return to the resort for breakfast, do a quick shopping session and check-out from resort. Leave Kaziranga at around 9:00am and reach Guwahati by 2:30/3 pm.
