Sondai is a small but beautiful trek situated in the Matheran range. It is more of a watch tower than a fort. It derives its name from a local deity Sondai devi. One can get a view of Morbe dam reservoir, Irshalgad, Matheran hills and Garbett plateau from the top. Sondewadi is the base village for this trek.

6:00am : Meet Team Travers outside Vile Parle station and start our journey by a private non-AC bus (pick-up points enroute)
8:30am: Reach Sondewadi and have breakfast
10:30am : Start trek
12:15pm : Reach the top, have lunch and rest
2:00pm : Start descend back to Sondewadi
4:00pm : Have evening snacks and start our return journey
7:00pm : Reach Mumbai with sweet memories of trek
