Sudhagad is a hill fort having origins from 2nd century BC. In 1436, it was captured by the Brahmani Sultan which was taken over by the Marathas in 1657. The fort has ruins of Shiva temple and a huge plateau that has two lakes, a house, a big granary, some tombs, a shrine and numerous other ruins scattered over the fort area. From the top, other forts namely Sarasgad, Korigad, Ghangad and Taila-Baila are clearly visible.
