Umred Pauni Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary (UPKWLS) is situated 75 kms from the city of Nagpur. The jungle acts as an tiger corridor for some of the major tiger reserves such as Tadoba, Bor, Pench and Navegaon-Nagzira. Once known for its very famous tiger named 'Jaichand' as Asia's largest bengal tiger, the park is now known for its little cubs. Fairy, F2, X Mark female tigers dominate the areas along with their cubs. Patil male, N4 male tigers oversee their separate territories often giving an habitat shot to the photographers!
Kids Policy:
- Kids below 5 years of age would not be charged any extra
- However, if you opt for a separate seat for the kids in the safari jeep, then it would be chargeable
- Kids with age 5-12 years would be charged at a discounted price

Please note, the tour starts and ends from Nagpur railway station. Suggested trains include Vidarbha Exp/ Duranto Exp from Mumbai Central / CST. Participants taking flights to Nagpur will get a pick-up and drop support in a sedan or SUV vehicles on request and at an additional cost.
Day 1 : Assemble at Nagpur station or airport, participants will have breakfast and then leave for Umred (3 hours’ Drive). At around noon, check in homestay and post lunch go for first evening jungle safari, followed by late evening meeting at hotel.
Day 2 : Early morning wildlife safari followed by breakfast and discussion about sightings. Afternoon safari post lunch.
Day 3 : Early morning wildlife safari. Post lunch, we will check out and reach Nagpur railway station/ airport. Spend some time at Haldiram outlet or explore local food/ shopping before reaching station/ airport.
