Satpura Tiger Reserve also known as Satpura National Park is located in the Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh in India. Its name is derived from the Satpura range.
The area of the present Satpura Tiger Reserve was first explored by Captain James Forsyth of Bengal lancers in the year 1862. Realizing the ecological and commercial value of vast expanses of forest it was declared the first reserve forest of India.

Please note: This Tour begins and ends at Mumbai. Participants may choose to reach Hoshangabad or Pipariya by either air or road depending on their preference. However, all required assistance will be duly provided.
Day 1: Departure from Mumbai
Departure from CSMT at 21:30 pm (Next day breakfast in the train)
Day 2: Briefing Session & Evening Safari
Upon arrival at Pipariya at 10:45 am, 2 hours journey to Hotel. Participants will check into the hotel.
A small briefing session followed after lunch will set the pace for first jungle Safari. Later on, followed by an evening meeting at the Hotel.
Day 3: Morning and Evening Safari
Early morning wildlife safari followed by breakfast and discussion about sightings.
Afternoon safari post lunch.
After evening refreshments, informative session on Biodiversity followed by Dinner.
Day 4: Shopping session and safari
Morning safari followed by shopping session while on return journey towards Hoshangabad station. Board Punjab Mail at 18:15 pm.
Day 5: Reach Mumbai
Reach Mumbai early morning (7:30 am at Dadar)
